Wedding Belles

Hi guys! I'm back from my little holiday break, and I finally had some time to upload the pictures from the wedding I attended last weekend!

Two of my best childhood friends got married on Friday - it was truly wonderful! I couldn't help myself, I cried so much! It was such an amazing amazing day.

Here are a few pictures from the event:

I was a bit tired, as I had work the previous day (I work at night), so please excuse my tired facial expressions, haha!

I wore - a powder pink/pale lavender evening dress from H&M, with nude ZARA platform heels, a Dior skull ring, some swarovski accessories and a sparkly silver vintage clutch.

My boyfriend wore - black & silver studded shoes from ZARA, H&M trousers, ZARA dress shirt, H&M tie, and a H&M suit.

After the ceremony & the dinner, I changed dresses, to this sheer black vintage one and paired it with black stilettos!

The decoration was absolutely gorgeous, and so elegant!

 The cake was so pretty, and not to mention delicious!

H&M By Night: Day & Night Collection

 I come back from my holiday break, and what do I see?! 


H&M's brand new By Night collection, "Day & Night"!!!!!!!

I have lusted over every By Night collection H&M has released (and also blogged about it), but I've got to say this one is the best one so far! Pure LOVE! I seriously want everything!

Hopefully I can check them out in store sometime next week! :)

 This dress - WANT! It's just so cute and girly, and I love the low cut and the black belt detail, it's super chic!

 These two dresses are very femme fatal! The leather bits & corset detailing just make it so sexy! I especially love the black, a girl can never have enough little black dresses!

 This white lace detail dress reminds me of one they released as a part of their Conscious Collection not long ago. I'm definitely not crazy about it, but I do love it still! It's very summery, and very elegant.

 Not too fond of these two, they are definitely a classic, but I just hate the ruched material. NEXT!

 I would totally get this beautiful maxi dress, but I have 3 black ones already, and they are all very similar, so I definitely won't be buying this one.

The bows are too cute, but the cut & style - not so much. These kind of dresses don't do any good for my figure!

This bow detailed dress is much cuter in my opinion, I love the black & the nude together. Definitely another classic which you can always wear for any occasion!

And here comes my absolute favorite from the new collection - Of course I saved the best til last!

This amazing frill & mesh detail top. I fell in love with it the moment I first saw it. 

I can just see me wearing this all day long! It's totally me! 

I hope it looks just as nice on as it does on the pictures!

Away for a few days...

What I Wore Today #11

Hi guys, just a super super quick update about what I wore last night. I'm off to my best friends wedding so I'm in a rush, but I wanted to make sure I update before I leave.

Last night I had some drinks with friends then headed for work. I wore this long taupe cardigan with a leopard print scarf, leggings, and some gold accessories! I also brought a leather jacket with me in case it was cold! You can see that on outfit 2. xoxo

Bright Oversized Clutches

Good morning everyone!

After my post on the Furla Candy Bags, I really felt the need to do a post on another colourful item, this time - bright, bold clutches!

The truth is, I'm not really into colour, I'm very fond of my blacks & whites, but I've definitely given into this current craze that is trending right now!

If you don't wear much colour like me, and want to spice your look up a little, these colourful cluthes are a must! Or if you want to try your hand at colour blocking, perhaps! Mixing & matching all kinds of colours is very fashionable right now. 

What I'm trying to decide on is which colour I should get. It's definitely going to be big, and colourful, but I just can't make my mind up! I especially love the envelope style ones, so chic!

I was thinking either a hot pink, which is so me! Or the yellow. I don't know, but the yellow just got me. I can honestly say I own nothing yellow, so I think maybe it's time to make some changes!

Or maybe both?!

Oh Gosh, just watch me, I'm going to end up buying all the colours in the end. It always happens... Amy, control yourself! You don't need one in every colour. I repeat - You don't need one in every colour...

The Kardashian sisters have also been spotted with yellow accessories.

I think their hair and skintone definitely go with the yellow. I'm really loving all of them!

I have wanted a big bright lemon yellow bag for so long now! I have my eyes on one right now, hopefully I will be able to get my hands on it, with some help from my good friend Janet. It's not a Birkin, but similar to it. Shh, it's a secret until I make my purchase though!

Sweet Tooth Sunday

I just love baking so much! I've posted some of the things I've made on here before - like these strawberry curd slices - but I tried some new recipes this time (on Sunday to be exact, which is the best time to just relax & eat all day), by altering the old ones and creating something that's a bit different, and I have to say they all turned out great!

Sometimes I feel like I should seriously stop eating so much sweets, but how can you say no?! So delicious!

You've Got Mail!

Hi guys! I'm so excited! The mail man (in our case, woman! haha) came today and... look what she brought me! 

I'm in love! So much in fact, that I'm now buying another pair, in black & suede!

They are so pretty and so comfortable!  Probably the most comfy pair I own! Not to mention thick chunky heels are so in right now!

All in all - A girl can honestly never have enough nude & black shoes! They go with everything so well. A truly great investment. xoxo
