Zoo Time Fun! ♥

Hi guys! 

Yesterday I had SO much fun! My boyfriend took me to the zoo!!! I love the zoo! 

I'm obsessed with it! I haven't been in about 2 years, and I was just so excited! I'm a total animal freak.

I was squealing like a little kid when I saw all the cute animals. I especially loved the adorable deer, my boyfriend always calls me Bambi, so just another reason why I love them even more! 

But what I was most excited about was the big cats - the snow leopard, the siberian tigers, the jaguar & it's cub, the lions, cheetahs, and the cougars! I find them all extremely beautiful and fascinating.

Oh, and one of the highlights of my day was the TAPIR! Such a weird animal! I even petted it, while it was sleeping! Haha!

We were there for more than 4 hours!

I swear this ostrich was in love with my boyfriend! She wouldn't even look at me, she kept staring at him the whole time!

What I Wore Today #2

After sunbaking all morning in my garden, me and my daddy went out for some coffee & a walk in the city! We had a little chit-chat, and some icecream, drove around town & just relaxed all day long! ♥

This is what I decided to wear for out fun day out! 

I adore this outfit! Simple, but really girly & cute at the same time!

Also, I discovered that I can take really cool pictures in our mirrored hallway, which leads to my wardrobe!

You can see my outfit from all kinds of angles this way! I'll definitely be taking more pics here!

My Wellington Boots Collection

I did a post on Ugg + Hunter boots a few days ago... Someone asked me what my thoughts on them were, and that actually reminded me of my own collection, so I took pictures today!

None of these are Hunter, but I love them SO much! I can't wait for autumn so I can finally wear them again! They are just so comfy & perfect for a long day of running around the city.

I have 8 pairs altogether, but I only took pictures of 6!

The Hello Kitty one has this super cute girly print on it, along with the Hello Kitty face on the side! I adore it!

NYX Round Lipsticks

I used to be all about MAC and YSL lipsticks, but when I found out about NYX Round Lipsticks and read online reviews about it, I knew I had to order some!

And the hype was right! - For such a low price, the quality is absolutely amazing! The staying power is great, and the colours glide on really easily, not to mention the texture is just so creamy! 

These 7 shades were my first ever purchases from NYX; and I instantly fell in love with every single one!

I ordered them from a power seller on ebay, and I've been ordering from there ever since!

Strawberry Milk, Narcissus, Orange Soda, Pumpkin Pie, Honey, Iris and Circe.

I also own Fig, Tea Rose, Summer Love, Tea, Indian Pink, Celene, and Thalia!

Now I have my eyes on the new 2011 Summer release, which includes 24 new shades! How gorgeous are they?

On my list is - Rose, Haute Melon, Gala, Paparazzi, Chic/Stella, Peach Bellini, and Marrakesh Pink! And who knows, maybe even some others, they are all gorgeous so it's hard to decide!

DIY Project #1: Miu Miu Embellished Socks

Have you ever seen something on a famous designer's runway, or on your favorite celebrity, that you just loved, but couldn't get your hands on, or simply couldn't afford? Well then DIY; Do It Yourself, is your answer!

I'm a hardcore fashion lover, so it comes naturally that I have always been a fan of DIY projects, and I have a lot of DIY items that I made myself.

It's a great way to create your own version of something that you're just dying to have, but don't have the money for.

When I first saw Miu Miu's Embellished Cotton Knee Socks, I just knew I had to make my own!

To be honest, I found almost $500 for a pair of socks ridiculous, and I'm sure a lot of you would agree with me on that!

Well here is my version, which I absolutely adore & cherish very much!

I created these beauties by grabbing a simple pair of black over knee socks, some crystals, beads, stars, and all kinds of gems from my local arts & crafts store, (and whatever I could find at home,) and just simply glued them on one by one! It's easy as that.

To tell you the truth, I even like it better than the original version!

Heidi Montag is also a fan of these gorgeous Miu Miu Embellished Cotton Knee Socks!

 Embellished socks & stockings were an absolute hit on several famous designer's runways in the past.

The glitter & rhinestone high heels are also DIY, made by me! I will do a post on that as well.

What I Wore Today #1

Some of you left me comments saying you loved how I started posting pictures of what I was wearing, or what I bought, etc, so I decided to start a What I Wore Today section! 

Thank you so much guys for being so lovely, I didn't think anyone would be interested in such things, I'm really happy for comments like that! ♥

Well we went out for some drinks to our Lounge bar tonight, and this is what I chose to wear.

Nothing special really, as I didn't feel like getting too dressed up, we were only there for about 2 hours.

It was freezing outside all day today, so I decided to wear this red leopard print dress, which totally looks like a skirt, with my favorite leather jacket, leggings, plain black heels & Dior bag! I pretty much wore my jacket zipped up the whole time, because it was just so cold!

Of course I paired the red dress with some red lips as well! I don't wear red lipstick too often, not really my thing, but it's good to change your look up every now and then.

Ugg & Hunter Boots?!

Okay, so someone asked me what I thought about Ugg & Hunter Boots!

Well, to be honest, I'm a big big fan of Hunters, but the ugg boots, not so much. 

I own 2 pairs of uggs, but I rarely wear them! Probably wore them out once or twice. 

I don't know. I just feel like I'm walking around in my pj's when I wear them, and you know like one of those indoor fur booties you wear in the middle of winter when you're just chilling at home? Yeah, that's the one! Just not my thing.

The Hunter's on the other hand are a great invesment! 

I personally don't own any Hunter boots, but I own so many pairs of other brands. There's a shop where I live that sells the most amazing designs, and I own like every pair! 

Plain black with a bow, white with a bow, black glitter, brown leopard print, pink bow print on a black base, zebra print, and hello kitty, these are just some of the ones I have, I'm totally addicted to them!

They are just great if you don't want to wear high heels, if you're out all day and want to be comfy, or of course if the weather's a bit glum and rainy. 

I wear mine all the time, especially during autumn & winter! In fact, I can't wait til the weathers colder again, because I want to wear my new rain boots already!

Looks like the boys love their Hunters too! Penn Badgley & Ed Westwick. And I don't blame them, because they are super comfy & look great! Even on guys, yes. I love it!

My favorite one - I've loved these pink Hunter boots ever since I first saw them.

They would go perfectly with all my clothes! I would pair them with a plain black/white outfit, and some pink nails/accessories, or maybe a bag, but too much pink would be too overpowering, so it's important to only have 1-2 pink items! 

And just as an extra little treat - Here you can see me wearing my zebra print wellington boots! I adore them. ♥

I admit I've always had a thing for Nicki Minaj. She's a crazy b*tch!

And I can't help but love this song! It's so fun & quirky!

Nails my way! #6

So I have become a huge fan of gel nails, and I have to say I'm crazy addicted to them! I have tried out several styles, but I just have so many more in my mind that I want to do! They are just amazing, last ages, up to 4 weeks to be exact, don't chip, fade, break, etc. I am simply in love with them.

I will be doing a post on each of the different styles I've had in the past! Check out this colour-changing pink leopard design!

This pink leopard design wasn't exactly "planned", they were very last-minute to be honest, but I guess I liked the outcome. It was created with a colour-changing base gel, it went from the colour you see on the picture (natural) to a darker mid-pink! I wish I took picture of that too, it was insane! It changed colours due to the heat, so when the sun shined on my nails they immediately started shifting colours! So cool! Only thing that bothered me was that it clashed with a lot of my outfits. To me, that was a bit messy, especially since I'm such a perfectionist!
